DELMAR - A man is hit by a car while jogging in Delmar.

Police say it happened on Delaware Avenue at Fisher Boulevard early Thursday evening.

At last check, the man - who is in his 50s, was in serious condition at Albany Medical Center. Police say he was in the crosswalk.

Police say the 17-year-old driver never saw the man and no drug, alcohol, or cell phones were involved. He was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
