Young Whitehall boy dies after brain cancer battle

There's a sad update about an 11-year-old Whitehall boy battling brain cancer.

"Captain" John Francis Hoague-Rivette has died.


John fought brain cancer with courage.

He was named an honorary captain of the Washington County Sheriff's Office the day before he underwent surgery.

Our thoughts go out to his family.
