COHOES - The man who accidentally started that huge November fire in Cohoes has pleaded guilty to fourth-degree arson.
John Gomes now faces one-year in jail. He will also have to pay restitution.
He was arrested after police say he started a small fire on purpose in a burn barrel. The wind caught the embers and damaged 31 buildings -- three of which had to be demolished.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 25.
