Good news continues for firefighter battling sepsis

Firefighter Josh Woodward's wife says she's witnessing a miracle.

NewsChannel 13 has been following this story closely since the Albany Airport firefighter suddenly developed sepsis last week.


According to his wife, Chelsea, doctors were prepping Josh for a surgery to remove his hand. However, doctors say it's okay and decided not to remove it after all.

If that weren't enough, Josh's wife says he looked her square in the eye before dozing off again.

Thousands and thousands of people are sending thoughts and prayers from all over the country for the Woodward family.

The GoFundMe page has now raised over $68,000.
