Jury selection begins in Schenectady murder-for-hire case

SCHENECTADY - Jury selection began Wednesday in Schenectady County Court in an alleged murder-for-hire case.

Tarchand Lall of Schenectady is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Charles Dembrosky.

Lall is accused of paying two hitmen to kill Dembrosky in 2016. They were both convicted back in May.

Lall was the beneficiary of Dembrosky's life insurance policy.
