BROOKLYN - Jury selection in the federal racketeering case of NXIVM co-founder Keith Raniere got underway Monday at the U.S. Courthouse in Brooklyn.

The process to select twelve regular jurors and six alternates comes after five co-defendants pleaded guilty over the past several months. Raniere's attorneys, who have maintained their client's innocence since his arrest in March, 2018, say they're determined to take the case to trial.
