Kentucky woman arrested for allegedly selling her own infant

A woman in Kentucky was arrested by the police for allegedly selling her own infant.      

Maria Domingo Perez was arrested in Bowling Green for selling the baby for $2,000.

Investigators said Perez gave conflicting stories, but she eventually admitted that she agreed to give her baby to another couple in exchange for cash.    

Perez’s four other children were taken from her after the arrest.    

She’s charged with felony selling and purchasing a child for adoption.
