Man charged in Albany homicide from July

Albany police have arrested a man in connection with a homicide that took place on July 25.

Khaa-Leel Allah is charged with second-degree murder. Police say he stabbed 45-year-old James Jones in the stomach during an altercation on Lark Street.

Jones was taken to Albany Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Allah is in the Albany County Jail.
