Hudson Falls man sentenced in murder plot of rape victim

The Hudson Falls man who conspired to kill a woman he and his friend raped last spring is sentenced to up to four decades behind bars.

Kyle Shultz was sentenced Wednesday in Saratoga County Court. He admitted to attacking a woman in Moreau with his friend, then making calls from jail to try and hire someone to kill her so she couldn't testify.

Shultz was sentenced to 33 to 43 years in prison.

His co-defendant, Dylan Kelly, was sentenced to 14 and a half years behind bars.
