Albany man sentenced in deadly stabbing

An Albany man will spend 25 years to life behind bars for stabbing a man to death last summer.

Lahquann Grady, 21, was sentenced on Friday.

Back in July, he stabbed Rashaun Byrd with a kitchen knife inside an Orange Street apartment. He claimed it was self-defense, but a jury convicted him of murder last month.

It turns out there was an order of protection that was supposed to prevent Grady from entering that home.
