Wife of injured journalist speaks in Albany about perseverance

ALBANY - A special keynote speaker was in town for Friday's "Key4Women" forum in Albany.

Lee Woodruff is the wife of Bob Woodruff.

As a reporter for ABC News back in 2006, Bob was critically wounded after a roadside bomb struck his vehicle in Iraq. He's since made a dramatic recovery, touring the country with his wife and helping co-author a best-selling book.

Lee spoke out about her experiences - bringing a message of positivity and perseverance to get through tough times.

Woodruff has family ties to the local area. She says it's especially important that she bring her message to a hometown audience
