Corinth woman accused of making up false rape claim

A woman from Corinth claimed she was raped. Now, state police say her story was false.

Linda Ives is charged with falsely reporting an incident and providing a false written statement. She's due back in Glens Falls City Court next Tuesday.

State Police say Ives showed up at Glens Falls Hospital last October and said she was a victim of a crime while in Hadley, but their investigation found it did not happen.
