Over 40,000 Easter eggs were given to children and their families for a good cause.

It's all part of Pastor Charlie Mueller's plan to encourage kids to report crime if they see it, and ensure a safe summer in the city of Albany.

He says it's important to use Easter as a backdrop for the event, to spread the message of anti-violence.
