Local library puts a new twist on their summer reading program

Nursery rhymes and fairytales came to life at Voorheesville Public Library’s summer reading program event Saturday.

Families took advantage of driving through a variety of stations that included high school students singing and farm animals.

Gail Brown from the library’s Youth and Family Services says the event gave drama students who missed their end-of-the-year productions an opportunity to act.

The event was held in the high school parking lot.
