Longtime 'Simpsons' writer to speak at free event in Albany

ALBANY - It's the longest-running scripted television series in history.
FOX announced on Wednesday it has renewed "The Simpsons" for seasons 31 and 32.
Mike Reese is the longest-serving writer and producer on the Simpsons. He will be in Albany on Friday night to talk about his 30 years working on the animated comedy.
You can catch him at Page Hall on the downtown campus of the University at Albany.
The free event is presented by the New York State Writer's Institute.
