Man charged with September slashing in Colonie

An arrest has been made in connection with a slashing in Colonie last month.

Luis Miranda, 50, from Troy was caught in Buffalo on Wednesday. He is accused of slashing another man at the Bourbon Street Bar & Grill on September 16.

Police say the men did not know each other. They had started fighting over a seat at a table and Miranda allegedly cut the other man on his torso and abdomen.

Miranda is in the Albany County Jail, charged with assault and possession of a weapon.
