Revolutionary War history comes alive for Saratoga County students

BALLSTON SPA - Students at a Saratoga County school got a hands-on lesson in Revolutionary War history on Friday.

Kids at Malta Avenue Elementary got to experience what it was like to be a member of the British and American armies.

They saw presentations on Native American trapping and fur trading and colonial-era clothing making.

The presenters are re-enactors and educators from area museums.
