A mother in Malta is accused of leaving her two children in the car while she went shopping.

Stephanie Pease, 27, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Police say Pease left her 2-year-old and 8-month-old in an unlocked, running car without air conditioning for 33 minutes Tuesday.

Police found the children in the parking lot at a grocery store.

Pease is due back in court next month.
