The Glens Falls man accused of shooting and killing a dog with a shotgun has rejected a new plea offer.

Joshua Marcantonio was in Warren County Court on Thursday for a pretrial hearing.

He’s accused of firing a 12-gauge into a home on Charlotte Street in Glens Falls last May.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Post- Star report he rejected a reworked plea deal. The deal would require him to plead guilty to felony criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor animal cruelty.

His trial is scheduled to start in January in Warren County Court.
