TROY -- Police arrested a man allegedly involved in a domestic incident Friday night.

Police say while they were investigating, they heard a woman screaming. They found her at a home on 6th Avenue. The woman apparently got locked out of the apartment.

The woman says she was choked and pushed out the door. They found bullet holes in the back wall near the stairwell. The woman says shots were fired in the hallway.

Detectives then got a search warrant and found a pistol inside the apartment. They later discovered it was stolen out of Myrtle Beach. Cocaine and marijuana were also found inside.

39-year-old Donyell Dukes was arrested with multiple charges including criminal contempt of violating an order of protection and harassment and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

It's unclear whether Dukes was involved with the shots fired.
