Man pleads guilty in connection with MyPayrollHR case

Luke Steiner, 31, of Minnesota has pleaded guilty, admitting to conspiring with MyPayrollHR CEO Michael Mann to defraud finance companies out of $13 million.

The Clifton Park company closed abruptly in September, leaving thousands of employees and small businesses in limbo.

Steiner faces up to 20 years in prison, and up to three years of post-imprisonment supervised release, when he is sentenced.
