Man charged in connection with Schenectady gas station robbery

Schenectady police have charged a man with a gas station robbery.

Aleksandr Babilenko, 30, is accused of robbing the Mobil at 585 Broadway on Thursday morning.

Police say they found him near Exit 25 of the Thruway in a red Nissan reported stolen out of Scotia.

They say he had $449.52 on him, along with an imitation handgun.
