Man sentenced for putting Xanax in girlfriend's coffee

A Warren County man who put Xanax in his girlfriend's coffee to get her to "chill out" is heading to prison. 

Nicholas Harris was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months behind bars. Back in June, he snuck the drug into his girlfriend's coffee because she was stressed out.

The woman had a bad reaction to the drug bringing her to the hospital. 

She was treated and released-- then called the cops.
