This Friday, tens of thousands of people will be in Washington, D.C. for the annual March for Life.

A group of students from Saratoga Catholic High School will be with them. They'll be leaving early Thursday morning.

The first March for Life took place in January of 1974. That was one year after the historic ruling of Roe vs. Wade, in which the U.S. Supreme Court decided banning abortion was unconstitutional.

Since its inception, the march has continued to grow. Attendance in Washington has exceeded 600,000 people in some years.

Meet some of the students and hear more about what they hope to get from the experience, by watching the video of Jacquie Slater's story.
