Saratoga Springs woman hurt in Texas church shooting thankful for support

The Saratoga Springs woman wounded in Sunday’s Texas church shooting is sharing her thoughts.

Margaret McKenzie released a statement on Wednesday thanking her friends, family and the staff at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

Olive Town Justice Timothy Cox says several of his cousins were visiting family and in the church during shooting.

McKenzie returned home Tuesday night, and NewsChannel 13 was at Albany International Airport, but McKenzie was taken out a back door.

Her niece, 33-year-old Tara McNulty, was killed.

McNulty's two children were wounded.
