EAGLE MILLS - There is no mistaking the sound of an organ. It is said to be one of the more complex musical instruments.

Marge Roden began playing it in her early teens at Hope Methodist Church in Eagle Mills.

However, it wasn't her first love. She took piano lessons.

The story goes as a kid, she started sitting next to the regular organist -- sort of like a sous chef. Eventually, she took over and has been striking a chord for 80+ years.
