Marine patrols stop Log Bay Day for 2nd year on Lake George

LAKE GEORGE - Police in Warren County are once again using marine patrols to stop Log Bay Day from happening in Lake George.

This is the second straight year police are turning away boaters from the bay.

In years past, the annual party, held on the last Monday in July, attracted hundreds of boaters who spent the day partying.

Two years ago following the event, Alex West was impaired and drove his boat into another vessel, killing 8-year-old Charlotte McCue.
