A Hadley man is under arrest in connection with a crash that killed a teenager back in June.

Matthew Gifford of Hadley is facing charges in connection with the death of 16-year-old Hayden Bush.

Bush was driving on Antone Mountain Road when he left the road and hit a tree. He died at the scene.

The latest investigation finds multiple factors including speed, driver inattention, and alcohol played a role in the crash.

The Saratoga Sheriff's Office says Gifford bought the alcohol and gave it to Bush, who was 10 years younger.

Gifford is charged with misdemeanor unlawfully dealing with a minor.
