Mayor of Cohoes responds to incident at his house

The Albany County Sheriff's office tells NewsChannel 13 Shawn Morse, the mayor of Cohoes called requesting police to his home in Cohoes. 

After speaking with Morse, he says he called 911 to ask an unwanted guest to leave his property. He says the situation involved an immediate family member.

Morse says the man walked toward him, but he put his arm up to keep the man from entering his home. 

This is an ongoing investigation. NewsChannel 13 will have the latest information once it's available.
