Mazda recalling thousands of cars and SUVs

Mazda is recalling more than 262,000 cars and SUVs in the U.S.    

There’s a problem with the software that could cause the engines to stall unexpectedly.

The recall covers the Mazda6 and the CX-5 from the 2018 and 2019 model years. It also includes the 2019 Mazda3.    

Dealers will reprogram the software at no cost to owners.
