Startling new numbers on the measles outbreak.

The Centers for Disease Control released those numbers on Monday. They say more than 1,100 cases have been confirmed in thirty states.

That’s an increase of 16 cases since last week.

The majority are in people who have not been vaccinated.

The CDC says New York is the hardest hit state.

A state of emergency was declared in Rockland County at the height of the outbreak but was lifted last week.
