Meatloaf with Kizzy Williams from Allie B's

INGREDIENTS for Meatloaf

-3 lb. ground turkey

-1 medium onion

-2 tbsp. flour

-1 tsp. salt

-2 tsp. ground black pepper

-2 large eggs

-1 pack of powdered bouillon

-1 cup of water

 

INGREDIENTS for Gravy

-1/4 cup of flour

-3/4 cup of water

-1 pack of powdered bouillon

-1/2 tbsp. of ground black pepper

 

 

Chop onion to desired size. In large mixing bowl, place ground turkey, onion, eggs, flour, salt, pepper and bouillon. Mix thoroughly. In a medium-depth, rectangular baking pan, place mixture and form into a loaf approximately 1 inch away from each side of the pan. Pour in water around the sides of the loaf. Cover pan with foil. Do not allow foil to touch the top of the loaf to eliminate sticking. Bake at 365 degrees for 1.5 hours. 

 

In separate pouring container, thoroughly mix ingredients to prepare gravy.

 

Remove foil from baking pan. Pour gravy around meatloaf. Return to oven and let the meatloaf cook an additional 20 minutes uncovered.

 

Remove the pan from the oven, ladle gravy over the top of the meatloaf. Let it rest for 10 minutes and then serve.
