June 11, 2018 01:29 PM

The Albany County medical examiner is working to determine if the human remains found in Thacher Park belong to a missing hiker.

Police started their search for 71-year-old Bruce Decker after they found his silver Mustang parked in a lot in February. Then on Saturday, a hiker saw the remains and told police. The police say they found Decker's I.D., wallet, and backpack.
