NewsChannel 13 is told around 6 p.m. Sunday, the homeowner, 55-year-old Melvin Yager, placed an emergency call to report a verbal altercation. By the time emergency responders got to the scene, they found the man unconscious. All they could do was transport him to Nathan Littauer Hospital, where he was declared dead.

After an autopsy on Monday, it has been determined that Yager died of natural causes. There was no crime committed, just a family tragedy.
