Funeral held for state trooper who died from 9/11-related illness

LOUDONVILLE - A funeral service was held Tuesday for former New York State Trooper Michael Anson.

The service was at the Alumni Recreation Center at Siena College.

Trooper Anson died last week from an illness related to his assignment at the World Trade Center site after the terror attacks on 9/11.

Trooper Anson served with the New York State Police for 31 years.
