Still no autopsy results in death of missing Montgomery County woman

There are still no autopsy results on the body of a missing Montgomery County woman found dead on Tuesday.

Michaela MacVilla was missing for more than a week. Her body was found in a field in Fulton County. Investigators are still trying to determine how she died.

The 21-year-old woman vanished after leaving her job at a Stewart's in Saint Johnsville on September 24.

Police say this is a criminal investigation, but they are not yet calling it a homicide.

State police are also identifying the man arrested during their investigation into MacVilla's disappearance.

Daniel Nellis Sr. of Oppenheim, is accused of criminal possession of a weapon. He's now being held in the Fulton County Jail.

Police say these charges are not related to the MacVilla investigation.
