Middleburgh farmer to challenge Senator Seward

A fifth-generation Schoharie County farmer will begin his campaign to challenge New York State Senator James Seward.    

Jim Barber, runs a farm in Middleburgh and is also the former New York State Executive Director for the USDA Farm Service Agency. He’ll announce he's running in the 51st Senate District.      


Barber says he'll bring work ethic, love of community, and the ability to get results to Albany.     

The kickoff is on his family farm on Saturday at 10 a.m.
