CHATHAM-- A milk tanker overturns Saturday evening.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office told NewsChannel 13 the truck, which was filled with milk from several local farms, was driving on Rock City Road when it started to roll backwards on an incline.

The driver, 37-year-old Ronnie Hare, jumped from the truck as the trailer went off the road and onto an embankment.

The milk inside the tanker started to leak out. Luckily, the driver wasn't hurt.
