A stolen alligator in Columbia County is back home.

The sheriff's department tells us Kobe was found Sunday on a neighbor's property.

Police say the six-foot gator went missing last Saturday from a home on Cemetery Road in New Lebanon.

Authorities say the owner is licensed to have the alligator.

We called the owner this morning and she said she is "not at liberty to say" anything about how the gator was found and returned to her.

This is not the first time Kobe went missing. We looked back in our archives and found that Kobe went missing in 2013. He was about three and a half feet long back then.
