Police: Pittsfield man began cleaning apartment after breaking-in

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - A Pittsfield man allegedly broke into an apartment in North Adams and started cleaning it.

Police say 33-year-old Mitchell Sayers was in a confused state when he entered the home, took his shoes off and emptied the litter box.


The victim was home at the time. It's not clear if the two knew each other.

Sayers is charged with breaking and entering and disturbing the peace.
