Mock dorm set on fire at RPI

How fast can a fire spread? Students at RPI learned a lesson on Wednesday morning.

Firefighters set a controlled fire in a mock dorm room outside.

They hope it will make students think about preventing fires.

They also reminded students of banned items in the dorms that could spark a blaze, like toaster ovens and extension cords.
