What you don't see on NBC's "The Voice" is the contestants living together.

"I knew that was going to make friends, but I didn't realize that I was going to make, like lifelong friends, like someone you're literally going to be like skeletons in rocking chairs with," explained Moriah.

"I never had a connection with anyone like I had with Moriah," explained Ilianna Viramontes, an 18-year-old from California, who flew in to celebrate Moriah's birthday and Halloween last week.

"One night, we just ended up hanging out and we just got soda together and that was it," explained Moriah.

However, on the show, Moriah is onto the knockout round while Ilianna was eliminated in the battle round.

"That was so tough, because when she got eliminated the next morning, I walked her out to the back, so that she could go back to the airport," explained Moriah.

They say they were both crying.

"I was honestly more upset saying goodbye to Moriah than I was about the whole thing," admitted Ilianna.

She is heading to Berkley College of Music next year and has no regrets about her experience on the show.

"This is going to sound so cheesy and cliché, but if I were to say the best thing that came out of me doing this, it would be me meeting Moriah," noted Ilianna.

She'll be watching Moriah every step of the way.
