It is "National Work Zone Awareness Week". This year's theme is "Drive Like You Work Here". State police and the Thruway Authority are passing out information to travelers at rest areas.

Remember, slow down for workers and move over for emergency vehicles.

State police have tickets more than 10,000 drivers each year since the "Move Over Law" passed in 2015.
