Albany man charged in connection with deadly July shooting

An Albany man is behind bars, charged with murder in connection with a July shooting in the city.

Neshad Grady, 23, was arraigned in Albany County on Monday.


An indictment unsealed Monday accuses him of shooting Khalil Barnes on Quail Street July 14.

Grady has pleaded not guilty to murder and weapons charges. He's in the Albany County Jail, pending a bail application.
