A private tasting was held Wednesday afternoon in Schenectady.

The stout is made of ingredients that include chocolate wheat malt and flaked oats. It is brewed using milk sugar.

It will officially launch to the public during the annual Beekman 1802 Harvest Fest on Sept. 15 and 16 in Sharon Springs.
