SCHUYLERVILLE - If you're looking for a nice place to take a walk, there's a spot in Schuylerville you may want to check out.
It's a new, two-mile stretch of the Empire State Trail. It's about two miles to walk, bike, jog, or even show shoe if you like.
The trail connects the Hudson Crossing Park and Dix Bridge with Fort Hardy Park and the Schuyler House.
The idea is the Empire State Trail will eventually extend from New York City to Canada – and New York City to Buffalo, with on and off-road connectors.
Learn about some of the other plans for the trail - and how it will help the community, by watching the video of John Craig's story.
