Capital Roots volunteers help plant 50 trees in Troy

TROY - Volunteers from across the Capital Region braved the rain on Thursday to plant trees.

Capital Roots was in Troy, planting 50 new trees across the Collar City.

The trees are in seven different locations, including Beman Park.

Capital Roots works to reduce the impact of poor nutrition by organizing community gardens and providing access to healthy foods.
