Federal jury deliberating fate of SUNY Poly founder

After three weeks of testimony, a federal jury in New York City is now deliberating the fate of Alain Kaloyeros.

The founder of SUNY Polytechnic Institute and three upstate business executives are charged with wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy. They are accused of rigging bids on state contracts.

The jury started work around 9:30 Wednesday morning.

According to the Times Union, they asked for charts the prosecutors and defense attorneys used during the trial.
