New York Naval Militia testing new vehicle on Hudson

The New York Naval Militia is trying out its new landing craft on the Hudson River.

They are training to develop loading procedures on the latest addition to the military emergency boat service.

A feature of this new boat is that its bow can be dropped to allow access to the shore by people or vehicles.

The boat costs approximately $317,000 and weighs 15,000 pounds.
