Lawmakers, attorneys, sheriffs call for changes to justice reforms

ALBANY - There was a strong turnout Wednesday afternoon at rallies both for and against New York's controversial new justice reforms.

Wednesday marked only 15 days the laws had been in effect, and already Republican lawmakers, local district attorneys, and sheriffs are pushing for the reforms to be repealed.

They held a press conference Wednesday at the Legislative Building, spotlighting cases they feel prove their point.
